Care @ Home

Pulteneytown People’s Project has delivered a high quality housing support service to the community since 2003, consistently achieving high scores in its inspections. We are now using the same successful ethos in our Care@Home service.

Our Care@Home team operate in Wick and the surrounding area, and we have a current team of 12. We have a mix of staff with a wealth of experience, and some ‘home grown’ staff who have started out a career with us.; the benefit of this is a very low turnover of staff.  This mix gives keen people the opportunity to gain qualifications and start a career. We train them up and support them to get their qualifications and they are committed to our organisation.

Our Care@Home service provides a bespoke service for the older generation in Wick and the surrounding area. We provide tailored support for people within their home, and we are also developing a programme of activities within the Pulteney Centre, which include the popular lunch club, all of which will keep people feeling fit and socially active.

As we are a small organisation you will become familiar with all of our staff, as we grow we will group the staff together so you will work with a small familiar group. There will always be a senior on every day who can support the staff on shift and  answer any questions or to clarify something.
